My roses are blooming!

The weather is ridiculous. It is 70 degrees, and the trees and even the roses are blooming. I went out back today and did some gardening. I couldn't believe this weather.

It has been a very mild winter, but when roses and flowers are blooming, there is something wrong. It is supposed to rain this week. The flowers and blooms will go nuts.  I have greenhouses for the winter as last year, we had a day the temperatures went down to minus thirty degrees below zero, but this year has been mostly in the sixties everyday.

Yes, we are in Canada and our roses are budding -- two of them are showing color, and when the denialists along the coast are standing up to their armpits in water, they will still be saying, "Oh, there is no climate change. It is actually getting colder."

Interesting winter so far......Here in Florida (my first winter) I have seen new mown lawns regularly and our roses have not stopped blooming either. We did have 3 frosty nights that killed the tomato plants though :-(

I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. If the jet stream finally changes back sometime soon, all those blossoming plants are going to suffer. :( In the meantime, Europe and Asia are getting severe winter weather.

Very strange year. Feb. is our blizzard month and they are saying high 50's for the next week. Guess it's all going to Alaska. They are having horrible weather up there.

it been 60 pluss all week. I have my roses cover in a Rose box, this mean no sun or cold, till I open it,, this way they dont bloom early or get ruin by the winds or harsh winters we suppose to have

I would sure take those spring like days back now that it's been about freezing the last few days!
