Happy New Years! What are you doing to celebrate?

Happy New Years to my friends on Gather. What are your plans for celebrating the New Year 2012? I'm spending the New Year at home with my husband and daughter. We call everyone in the family at midnight, but honestly, I hate to start a New Year.

This last year has been tough for Oklahoma with earthquakes and tornadoes. I never felt my house shake so much or seen such devastation of friends and families. I do hope and pray we all have a wonderful and safe New Year! May God bless you and yours, and keep my family in your prayers.

I'm staying home w/ a cold! Bah! Happy New Year Carol to you and your family! I hope 2012 brings relief on many levels for all of us! But, what with the election coming in Nov, I think it's going to be way too much griping, complaining, bashing, etc! I will have to turn a deaf ear! Enjoy your evening!

Happy New Year! We haven't done anything for the evening in years. Just staying home and being safe. Odds are pretty fair it might get slept through as well, LOL.

Going to a nice dinner then to a concert. Best thing is everything is within walking distance so no driving.
