Only One Week Until Christmas!!!!

It is 7 days exactly until Christmas! I am so excited for Christmas this year... and honestly, nothing is really that different, I'm just excited :-)

We only have 2 more people in the family to buy for then we are DONE for this year! This may sound silly, but I actually hate Christmas shopping, but I love giving the gifts... I know it's weird lol but that's just how I am.

This year should be pretty relaxing; only 3 family Christmas events to go to, one Christmas Eve, two Christmas day. So not too much driving, which is good because lately I've started having all these irrational fears, ever since it started snowing, my "pregnancy brain" has kicked in and I'm terrified of doing certain things! For example, we have a railroad track by our house, and lately I'm terrified to even drive over it because I'm afraid of getting hit by a train... I know it probably doesn't make much sense, but again, that's just how it goes lol.

Anyway, This year, since we now have our house, my parents will be staying with us in our guest room for the holiday, which I think will be really fun. They will be bringing their two little shih tzu's (Daisy and Molly) so Riley (our dog) will definitely have fun having "friends" over.

So, as you can probably tell, I'm very excited for Christmas this year :-)

I'm the same way....hate the shopping, but like to give the gifts. LOL. I'm not excited for Christmas this year at all. We don't have a tree up or anything.

We almost didn't even get a tree, and the only reason we did was because my grandma gave us one of her pre-lit, faux Christmas trees, which was very nice of her!

I can't its only a week away. It went by really fast. I'm also the same when it comes to Christmas shopping. I really dislike it (but I only like it if I'm shopping for my kids) but I do like giving gifts.

This is my first year without a tree. I'm thankful for the Reason for the Season but my heart isn't into the shopping,decorationg,cookingect.It's just going to be me so no big to do..Wishing all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Yeah, our house is not very festive haha, but I'm thinking that since we'll have our little one next year, things will become more festive as the years progress. A very Merry Christmas to you and yours as well!
