Scarlett Johansson talked about her leaked nude photos to David Letterman Monday night. And since the actress is trying to promote her upcoming movie We Bought a Zoo, it's likely she's going to be talking about them a lot in the next few days.
She was on Dave's show to promote her upcoming film about a family who buy a closed-down zoo and work to rebuild it. The movie based on a true story is directed by Cameron Crowe and also stars Matt Damon, so it will probably get tons of attention before it hits theaters on December 23.
It's just a shame that the hacker that obtained nude photos of Scarlett Johansson didn't wait just a little bit longer to release them - it would have been great publicity for the movie (which is nudity-free and rated PG). However, the fact that the photos leaked back in September hasn't stopped Scarlett from using them as a promotional tool now.
To be fair, David Letterman is the one that brought them up during the interview. First he and Scarlett talked about Twitter, which Scar-Jo thinks is only used to insult people. Dave questioned the usefulness of the social networking site by wondering why anyone would want to know that Justin Bieber is at 7-11 (Scarlett didn't have an answer for this).
Then Dave delicately delved into Scarlett Johansson's leaked nude photos. Here's what she said about them: "I have to say it was quite shocking. It was extremely creepy. What was even more creepy about it was... my email password was constantly changing for months and months and I kept thinking, 'Why is my password always changing? It meant the guy was really there constantly, every 20 seconds... He was just sitting there all pasty and sweaty and pervy and weird. That's the creepiest thing."
Scarlett also called the incident "unfortunate," but she had a good laugh about it. She also seemed pretty pleased when David Letterman pointed out that the hacker responsible for the leaked nude photos could get 100 years in jail for it.
The photos were meant for Ryan Reynolds' eyes only, and, interestingly enough, nude photos of his new girlfriend Blake Lively were also leaked on the internet. However, unlike Scarlett, his new ladylove has kept her lips sealed and has not revealed whose eyes her photos were meant for.
Check out Scarlett talking to Dave about the incident below at the 3:15 mark - she seems to be pretty comfortable chatting about it.
