This week the models were allowed to assess each other which resulted in the predictable tears, eye rolls and some honesty. Angelea lost it and confessed that she knew what ‘those bitches’ were up to, however it did sound as if they were honest about her pros and negatives. Throughout it all she managed to piss off Laura…like whoever pisses off Laura? I believe it was Lisa expressed the sentiments of many of her fellow competitors by observing Laura isn’t ready to win. Her meltdowns are too often inspired by her one person pity party. Overall, Laura was judged to have the most potential by her peers while Allison was judged to have the least despite her winning streak.

Later the models were assigned to pose as fashionable Greek Olympic era athletes with accessories. Nigel Barker was the photographer and I think for the first time his work impressed me. He also worked well with the contestants by showing them how to maneuver each of their Olympic instruments. I thought the black and white against the Greek coast line was stunning.
Â
Lisa D’Amato was assigned the hurdles which she stated she actually ran in high school. Since she had received criticism about posing with her legs spread she held back, but when Barker assured her that he wanted her unfurled she went for it with gusto. I don’t overly like her photo, but do admire her talent. Earlier in the episode all of the women went to a party and she appeared to enjoy herself despite not drinking which proves that even if she doesn’t win, she has the maturity to take on the task of being a ‘Top Model’ spokesperson.Â

Dominique Reighard was sent packing after she got first call out the week before. I think she got the short end of the stick – her sport was javelin. She had a weak picture but Angelea (who was once again in the bottom two) had a weaker photo along with a weaker overall performance. The one thing Angelea over Dominique is that she brings the drama and doesn’t have two children. Listen, the nature of the modeling beast is travel and I find it hard to think that a mother of two young children, even with a supportive father, can hop a plane and jet set off to places unknown. The judges said they didn’t know Dominique’s personality but I find it difficult to think that they would prefer someone who isn’t the life of the party over another model is prone to outbursts. Overall, I think Dominique proved what she wanted to which was that she was extremely attractive and wasn’t a dude.Â
Â
Allison Harvard was given the discus. I liked her picture in a Hera sort of fashion although I wish she was posed as if she is tossing her purse like a Frisbee. She finished strong despite not having the admiration of her peers who collectively are confused as to what it is able Allison that enthralls the judges.

Laura Kirpatrick is so darn cute! That cuteness however didn’t stop her from producing one of the best photos in the history of ‘ANTM’. Often the panel talks about photos that would make them pause and for me Laura’s archery shot does it. I love the way her body angles and her confidence with the bow (she sister shoots). It was stunning. I think she will be one of the last two standing. The only thing she has working against her is her lack of reading ability for projects that require her to use a cue card, however she has all the other bases covered.Â

Angelea Preston runs hot and cold for me. This week she was cold. Last week I softened when she talked about being a history buff. I think it is when she calls the other women “bitches†that makes me hope she is the eliminated model for the week. I feel for her, but once again, I think the observation that she isn’t ready is correct. In fact it was Dominique who said that she was once Angelea and understood her and that she just needs (this is my term) cook a little longer. I think the judges are keeping her because she adds drama to the program.Â
