Does this look like handicap accessable.....NOT

Since I have decided to go out and live my life regardless of my difficulties. I have become an advocate of sorts for the disabled. As the picture clearly shows this store is not a place suited for wheelchairs or the visually impaired. It is handicap accessable to the door, but when you get inside you can not move with all those racks in the middle of the floor. I in fact made a call to their main office. We will have to see what happens. In the store they have racks and boxes in the center of the floor allowing less then 2 feet of access on each side.. If there were to be a problem in the store I would be in fact trapped. thank you all in advance for reading

I just got off the phone with their main office, It helps when you are aware of safety guidlines. There must be 8 feet of clearance in buildings for saftey

Roger, as a disabled (but somewhat mobile) veteran, I, too, am sensitive to these issues. It amazes me how many places are unaware that the law requires them to accommodate us.

Some of us who are not disabled take friends and relatives who walk with assistance or use wheelchairs on outings. Navigating aisles can be really difficult in some places. People do need to be sensitive to making our world accessible for everyone.

Keep fighting these issues roger, my husband also is a retire veteran and he is partial blind. I agree with Debra's comment: Quote-Navigating aisles can be really difficult in some places. People do need to be sensitive to making our world accessible for everyone.
