GREAT Night at Work!

I haven't posted anything is quite some time :-/ I've been VERY busy working! I'm working almost 55 hours a week, so any time off is very precious!

Anyway, tonight was a GREAT night at work! I work as an assistant to one of the busiest Special Finance (aka- Bad Credit) Managers in the Detroit area. At the beginning of the month, we set a goal of 32 cars to get out the door for an excellent month....well....the numbers are in (seeing as it's March 31st) and we sold..... 37 CARS!!! :-) That's right! We rocked it out! And actually my boss, Barb, told me she has never sold so many cars in one month with only one assistant, let along a BRAND NEW assistant!

So, seeing as we exceeded our goal, she has promised me a shopping spree! I'm so excited :-) Not only to go on a shopping spree (with no money limit, btw) but I have the chance to get to know my boss! She is a GREAT person to work for. I love my job :-) How many people can honestly say that?!?

So I've been a very busy girl lately....work-wise, and personal-life-wise!

More good news!!!!

Justin and I have decided to buy a house! Our lease is coming up end of this June, and we REALLY don't want to re-sign and we will do pretty much ANYTHING to get into a house and stop wasting our money on renting. We would be first time home-buyers, so an FHA loan is pretty much a "must." I have a meeting with a mortgage loan manager tomorrow at Justin's bank, so we'll see how that goes. Saturday, I only work from 10am-1:30pm them Justin and I have a meeting with our Realtor to see exactly what we're looking at financially, quality-wise, etc, etc.

Oh, also on Saturday, I get to finally get my hair done! I have a friend doing it so it'll be pretty cheap. Only $40 for a full head of highlights as well as a trim and shape.

So it will be a GREAT weekend :-) I'm excited!
