You probably know many things about Prince William’s fiancee and future princess Kate Middleton, but did you know she was at one time a jewelry designer? Now that she is to marry the future King of England, Kate Middleton’s necklace is going back to stores and is set to be the hottest must-have holiday gift.
Kate designed the necklace with jewellery designer Claudia Bradby in 2007 when she was a buyer for Junior Jigsaw stores. She wanted to create something for the store’s younger shoppers. Now the necklace is being reissued to celebrate Kate’s upcoming nuptials.
Kate Middleton designed the silver bean, rose quartz and a pink pearl pendant, as well as the chain and box the necklace comes in. For just 45 pounds (approximately $66 Canadian), this little necklace will probably be on the top of every little girl’s wish list. The Issa dress she wore to announce her engagement and all replica dresses have already sold out, so we can just imagine what will happen when words spread about this necklace.
This is only the beginning, we still have months before the royal wedding for more Kate Middleton inspired fashions.
You will be able to get your necklace at Junior Jigsaw.
