Bachelorette Ali Season Finale Tonight! Chris Harrison: Thoughts on the Final Rose

Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky is about to make her final decision tonight on ABC’s The Bachelorette as to whether to give the final rose to Chris Lambton or Roberto Martinez but not without a few surprises! According to Chris Harrison, “it will be interesting to see how fans react.” Here are Chris Harrison’s exact thoughts on the season finale airing tonight and Ali’s decision during the final rose ceremony.

Chris Harrison says, “it’s not the usual proposal day our fans are used to seeing,” meaning this season does not end traditionally. The Bachelorette normally ends with one guy going home after proposing and one guy getting engaged. Ali may have let one guy go home before the proposals to avoid rejection or embarrassment on national television, or she may have chosen no one. Was this appropriate? If Ali followed her heart and let one guy go home rather than leading him on, they she was definitely acting appropriately and being more real than what we normally expect from ABC and reality television.

“I’m proud of her and she made the right decision for her. I’ve seen her several times since and she couldn’t look better and happier,” states Chris Harrison.

According to People Magazine, “after a long process in which several men have left the show after other relationships were discovered — Justin “Rated R” Rego left after Ali learned about his relationship with another woman, Frank Neuschaefer left after admitting to be in love his his ex — Fedotowsky has whittled the field down to two men, Roberto Martinez and Chris Lambton.” Basically, two guys liked their previous girlfriends better than they liked Ali Fedotowsky and left her. Now Ali only has two choices left because three guys minus one Frank equals two.

Ali was shocked Frank left her for his previous real life ex-girlfriend. The show is supposed to be all about men chasing Ali. According to Harrison, “what happened with Frank really set things in motion and really set her off. She was falling in love with the guy and he was falling in love with her.”

Ali planned to choose Frank up until when he left. Now the finale is different because she can no longer choose Frank.

Harrison’s final thoughts on the finale are that Ali Fedotowsky “feels like she really got her life in order and has come to terms with what she’s done. It will be interesting to see how the fans react. I think I know but I always have to wait to Tuesday morning to see how the fans react.”  It appears Chris Harrison is hoping fans will like the ending! Let’s hope it is more realistic than past finales that seemed very edited and scripted. Many fans hope Ali Fedotowsky finds her real life true love in either Roberto Martinez or Chris Lambton to get a fairy tale ending!
