Celebrities at airports are always an interesting sight. Do they wear track suits or comfy shoes? Do they bring their glamour all the way into pressurized cabins? Or, do they look like the average traveler?
Project Runway host Heidi Klum was recently spotted at JFK airport. Her all-black attire may have been designed to keep her incognito but supermodels rarely go unnoticed. She wore a black straw hat, oversized sunglasses and skinny black pants. She paired those with a cool black tank. Literally cool as the fabric was very sheer and offered a glimpse of her black bra. A pair of grey cuffed boots with multiple buckles kept her outfit from being completely monochromatic.
Lady Gaga was Lady Gaga through and through when she was photographed at the Houston airport last July 29 in this get-up. The singer wore an Asher Levine “straitjacket,†in white leather. Oversized belt buckles adorned the outfit, including the hem which ended at mid-calf. Combined with her black platform pumps, it must have been a long walk to her plane.
And then we have British X-Factor judge Cheryl Cole at LAX on July 31st. While her hooded jumpsuit with a drawstring waist may resemble the track suits so often seen in airports the world over, Cheryl’s was Marc by Marc Jacobs. She upped the price tag on her outfit with a pair of Burberry sandals.
