In a weekend dominated by Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky wedding news, another celebrity tied the knot in a ceremony that was kept under the radar, until now. Grammy award winner Alicia Keys married producer Swizz Beatz in Corsica this Saturday.
Just like Chelsea Clinton’s much talked about wedding gown, Alicia wore a white Vera Wang dress. The diagonal draping on her neckline was accented by jeweled details on the back of her shoulder. The floor length gown flowed gently over the expectant singer's figure. Vera was said to be inspired by royal Egyptian dresses and Alicia enhanced the effect with a jeweled head dress instead of a veil. Alicia kept the French island feel going with embellished, flat sandals by Christian Loubotin. The groom wore a tuxedo by Tom Ford.
Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz have been together since 2008. Swizz has two sons and is expecting a third child with Alicia this May.
