Bed bugs Battle: Victoria's Secret is 3rd Store...

Victoria's Secret has bed bugs. The Bugs have been making a comeback in New York.Â Some beds and areas inside a Victoria's Secret store were infested with bed bugs! Exterminators destroyed the insects but it's still unclear where and how the store became infested.

According to CNBC, a representative for Victoria's Secret stated that the infestation was confined to certain areas. The spokesperson stated,

"As a proactive measure, we tested our Manhattan stores. When we found small, isolated areas that may have been impacted, we immediately took action to resolve the situation."

Exterminators were able to find the tiny insects with Bed bug-dectecting dogs. The dogs used their noses to sniff out the annoying insects. All Merchandise with bed bug infestations were destroyed. Cryonite was used to freeze and kill the bed bugs.Â

Interestingly, Victoria's Secret isnâ€™t the first store to suffer from a bed bug infestation, two other stores in New York had also faced the problem. Teen clothing accessory store Hollister in Manhattan's chic Soho neighborhood and Abercrombie & Fitch at South Street Seaport were infested. Both stores were also closed briefly as exterminatorsÂ destroyed the insects.

It might be possible that these stores probably had a varied customer base from tourists on vacation. The tourists may have brought along bed bugs. Those bed bugs decided to stay in the store andÂ there you have it, an infestation!
