The Next Bachelor: American Idol Star Casey James

Recently, Chris Harrison, host of the popular ABC series The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, tweeted at the delight of many American Idol fans, “Casey James just agreed to be our next Bachelor. He is allowed a guitar!” Casey won the hearts of young girls and fans alike with his talented singing and guitar playing ability on American Idol Season 9. Now, with the taping of The Bachelorette 6^th season finale with Ali Fedotowski wrapped up and after the final rose ceremonies to be taped and later aired in a few weeks, fans are wondering who ABC will officially announce as the next Bachelor, and if Casey James just might be up for the gig.

When interviewing with OK! Magazine while on the American Idol tour, Casey James’ response to being on the show and having to choose from twenty five gorgeous women was “Oh, God, that sounds horrible!” and “Sign me up!”

It appears that Casey James would not have any troubles dating women in reality, so why sign up for a reality tv show that does not even slightly mimic reality and dating? Most likely, like every other guy out there, you have twenty five beautiful women going gaga over you, plus the publicity. As the newest Bachelor, Casey could bring along his guitar and we could have the very first Bachelor: The Musical.

Casey James is currently single and definitely eligible according to women across America. As for now, although Chris Harrison tweeted the news about Casey James potentially being the next Bachelor, there has not yet been any official decision or contacts drawn up for the next season of ABC’s hit show. Producers for ABC are likely to announce the next Bachelor once the final episode of the sixth season of The Bachelorette with Ali Fedotowski has aired and her picks have been revealed. If Casey James is officially offered the part as the next Bachelor, how many women across America will put in their applications do be a contestant on the show, and with so many hopefuls, will Casey James find real love?
