Kristen Stewart’s New Look! Why She Decided to Dye Her Hair (Photos)

Since the release of the third movie of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner have been non-stop promoting their new film. Recently though, fans of the Twilight series have noticed Kristen Stewart step out of her comfort zone with hair that is a stunning new shade of auburn red.

Many fans, including myself, may be wondering why the sudden change only days after the release of Eclipse. According to her stylist, Frederic Fekkai's Adir Abergel and US Magazine, Stewart is preparing for a new role in the film adaptation of a classic Jack Kerouac novel, a 1950’s drama entitled On the Road, where she will play the part of Mary Lou. Stewart also teamed up with Clairol celebrity stylist Marie Robinson to achieve her new lighter look, which she debuted Monday on The Late Show With David Letterman.  

Although this is not the first time Kristen Stewart has changed her look for a role in a movie, this is the first time we have seen her with locks closer to her natural hair color, blonde. What do you think of the new look, as seen in photos below? Personally, I think Kristen pulls off her new hair color and style fabulously, and her stylists could not have picked a better color to brighten her up and flatter her skin tone to bring a happier glow to Stewart’s normally moody appearance.
