"Further investigation into this matter will only benefit Mr. Gore. The Gores cannot comment on every defamatory, misleading, and inaccurate story generated by tabloids. Mr. Gore unequivocally and emphatically denied this accusation when he first learned of its existence three years ago. He stands by that denial." This statement is from the Gore family spokesperson, Kalee Kreider.
The investigation is because of allegations made by Molly Hagerty, 54 and massage therapist that was hired by Gore during the 2000 elections. Â According to Hagerty Gore acted like a "crazed sex poodle" and made unwanted sexual advances.
There is more to this story as Hagerty wanted $1million for her story, she had not told this story to anyone prior to this point and had actually voted for Gore in the presidential elections of 2000.
So why the story now? Â I have to wonder if it is because of the pending divorce between the Gores. Â This may be a ploy to take advantage of the situation to make money, she obviously believes her story is worth $1million at least. Â This may be a set up for Tipper to gain more from the divorce settlement. Â This may be someone who set this up that is unhappy with Gore at this time.
Would not the best time for a story like this to come out have been during the fame of the Nobel Peace Prize? Â I mean if someone was acting like this was an act of a crazed sex poodle and unwanted sexual advances should it not have come out then?
I have to wonder about the behaviors of people, not simply Al Gore if these alleged charges took place but of the massage therapist that may or may not be making these untrue allegations for her own gain.  What is the message she sending out to the individuals who are true victims of sexual crimes?
Real victims everyday are facing real trauma from these types of acts. Â Why does she claim to be a victim of these acts, keeps quiet for ten years, votes for him and asking for $1 million now makes her story difficult for the average person to believe.
