Now that Bachelor Jake Pavelka has split from fiancee Vienne Girardi, is there a chance that the current Bachelorette Ali Fedowtowsky, who was once turned down by Jake herself, could find it in her heart to forgive him, and maybe even rekindle a relationship?
Many Ali fans thought she was the perfect match for Jake. But Ali, 25, told People.com that although she thinks it’s sweet that people thought she and Jake made a good couple, there's no chance of the spark returning. “That’s not going to happen. I hate to put a damper on everyone’s hopes out there, but no," Ali told People.
Still, Ali said she does feel badly for Jake during this difficult time. Of his split from Vienne she said, “It’s sad it happened. I hope the media stuff dies down and they can focus on moving forward. I want to make sure he has time to heal and go through all of the emotions before I would even consider reaching out as a friend.â€
Jake and Vienna's recent "closure" interview with Bachelor host Chris Harrison will air during Monday's episode of The Bachelorette. When they shot the interview late last week, Vienna stormed off the set in tears. Should be a good one!!
I don't think Jake seems ready to settle down at all right now, with Ali, Vienna, or anyone else. He needs to be single for a little while, especially after a failed engagement.
If I were Ali, I wouldn't go near Jake, except as a friend. He's got enough on his plate, and he already passed her over once!
