Can we just go ahead and call Britney Spears super woman? She just recently completed a gigantic tour for her comeback album Circus, she is the mother of two children, has a perfume line and now she has started a fashion line for Candies. I wonder what took her so long?

Britney has been the face of Candies for the past three years and I like the idea that a clothing and accessories line has been created to compliment the already existing shoe line. I remember my first pair of Candies - high heeled, lavender slides. Think Olivia Newton John in Grease.

Candies is a young line, but there are some pieces that women can wear and not look like mutton dressed as lamb. Britney describes her personal style as "My personal style is mix of comfortable and flirty. I love cute little dresses but I also love comfy sweaters and jeans." I am excited to see the flirty, sassiness translated into clothing and accessories. Personally, I'm loving the gray biker jacket but not feeling the shoe line but perhaps that is because I'm a boot girl and the pickings are slim. Perhaps they will have more options when they roll out more pieces in September and October. The line debuts on July 1, at Kohl's but is only available for a limited time so start shopping.
