Debut Trailer: "The Social Network" Movie and Initial Responses Here!! (VIDEO)
Facebook has long since been "The Social Network" for networking, relationships and from time to time advice, providing social interaction for both teenagers, college students and adults alike. Now, "The Social Network" movie, based on the beginnings of Facebook, has launched it's first video trailer of the movie! The movie will hit theaters this year in October 2010.
The trailer (from The Social Network Official Site) includes clips of intense dialogue from main characters and the words "Punk," "Genius," "Prophet," "Traitor," and "Billionaire" followed by the phrase, "You don't get 500 million friends without making a few enemies," which makes for a catchy tag line for the movie! Overall, the new trailer is very cool and exciting; it definitely leaves you wanting to see more and desiring to know what happened during the creation of Facebook.
Personally, I think the movie will be phenomenal. Facebook is the largest social networking media site, launched in 2004, where users can keep in contact with friends, loved ones, coworkers, or even stalk exs and enemies. It's a wonder anyone was able to keep up with important birthdates, aniversaries, telephone numbers and events prior to Facebook! How else would we know what everyone else is up to on a regular basis? Facebook provides people the capibilites to easy network and prolong peripheral relationships between acquaintances that would have likely ceased without the occasional wall post or "like" option on status updates. Facebook is the social network for relationships, with user having the ability to update their relationship status anytime a change occurs or they break up/ get together with their boyfriend/girlfriend, for the whole world to view.
The movie will star Jesse Eisenberg as Mark Zuckerberg, the guy who started Facebook. Also in the movie will be Justin Timberlake, which will draw many fans in, although I planned to see the movie anyways!
