Adrianne Curry: Don't Breastfeed in Public!

So I'm breastfeeding my newborn and catching up on some twitter today, when I find a new celebrity who has decided to jump aboard the controversial boobie train.  To breastfeed or not, that is the question.  And who is the newest celebrity to publicly voice their opinion?

Adrianne Curry made her stance today on the whether or not to breastfeed in public - and her choice is crystal clear!  According to her tweets today, she likens breastfeeding to "eating pussy" and "pooping and peeing" - things which she says are all natural as well.  To her, it's a double standard  that you can do the former but not the latter.

By the time I finished reading her tweet, my son had decided he had enough to eat.  Prior to his birth, I really didn't have an opinion on whether or not breastfeeding in public was an acceptable thing.  But now that I have a 5-day old?  I think for people to really get a good handle on the boobie train, they should experience the panic of a screaming child who has missed a feeding - plus the lactating boobs that soak your shirt.  But, on the other hand, I'm completely uncomfortable with the fact that some people want to sit down and have a conversation with me while my boob is out.

So my take on Adrianne Curry?  Umm...she's got a right to her own opinion, but breastfeeding ain't nothing like eating pussy.  If she had any questions about that, she should give the former a try.
